I need you, like an angel needs her wings.
You are the reason, which the caged bird sings.
You have far more power, than you could ever know.
Just your faith in me, I ask that you bestow.
I trust you, with everything within.
I get angry with myself, because my patience wears thin.
There is a forever-burning hope in me,
That one day, together, we will be.
I swear it is all I want, is to make you happy.
To give you overwhelming joy and peace, oh the sense of being free.
So tell me, what's your biggest fear.
I need to know, so I can wipe you tears.
I want to be the one to comfort you, when you are feeling down.
I want to be the one that's there for you, when no one else can be found.
You mean more to me, than anything else ever has.
I know you don't know how, but I know one thing, it will never pass.
They say you don't miss, what you've never had.
But it is so not true, cause right now I am sad.
Because I cannot hold you and call you mine.
And there are much more to you, than being fine.
I love your ways, I love who you are.
I love everything about you, you're more than my shining star.
I cannot explain, what you mean to me.
Cause it's impossible, but without you, I will never be free.
So before you think you can just walk out of my life, without me ever missing you.
Well let me tell you my biggest fear, my biggest fear is, loosing what's not mine to lose.
