I didn't think it'd be so hard to go through
I listen to all the cruel things they say about each other
I try and give advice without hurting the other one
but there's nothing for me to do
they're through
Theres nothing like seeing dad cry
but that's what happens when being with someone you love was a lie
they've both said they've moved on
but they still talk about the other
they still try to get info about the other
they still call each other
and deep inside they know there will never be ANOTHER
dad was really hurt
he's only been treated like he's dirt
mom got what she wants
but she still taunts
he still loves her whether she wants to believe it or not
but apparently to her he's just a dot
he misses her a lot
i love them both
one neglects
and the other doesn't know what to do because all he gets are rejects
i miss our FAMILY
but this is still my life
and I'll keep praying for it to be the way it was when EVERYBODY was happy.
