The Boy Who Should Be Mine

by Christy   Sep 7, 2007

It's sunset and I see your face
My heart beats at a fast pace
Your lustrous hair, your face so fair
Breaks my heart until it tears
Her arms around you like a snake
Brings my tears to fill a lake
The aching longing, the carefree faking
Splits my soul with no belonging
Moonlight, the brightening light
Illuminates the fearful sight
Her kiss so sweet, her lips divine
Steals the boy who should be mine
