Solitary Sonnet

by Hazel   Sep 8, 2007

As I gaze upon the heavens above
I reminisce and see beauty dont last
Two stars, two bodies, which I dearly love
Both be always, and will never a past

When typhoon comes twigs, branches dance with it
Chill hardens the heart though loneliness pricked
While storm rested...settled, I mustn't quit
Oh my stars, my sinews, my air indeed!

When ship set to sail I did carry me
My heart bridges gap flies to you unseen
I sailed, I crawled, hope to see I be We
Though far than away, ocean in between

My Earnest, my Phoenix, my Beloved
A love, a life, a promise kept sacred
