Missing my deployed Marine
He asked me to wait for his return home
As he fights miles away
I mark the days off the calender that past by
Each time the phones rings I hope its him
Telling that is he okay and he loves me
Only if I can hear his voice
So I will feel the love inside me grow
Missing my deployed Marine
Is the hardest thing that I can face
Without feeling shame
