He Chose To Die

One thought was running through my head
how can it be
he cant be dead
my closest friend for many years
i had to deal with tons of tears

he hated his life
thats what he said
thats why now
he wound up dead
suicide
a deadly word
he hung himself
is what i heard

"but why" id ask
why did he
the most poular kid
the one nicest to me
he hated his life
but i couldnt see why
i wish i could change
why he chose to die

i wrote this about 2 yrs ago cuz one of my best friends TRIED to commit suicide. luckily it didnt work though and he got help. :-)
