Cant stop loving

I held back as hard as I could
coz I didnt want her to see me cry
but then I couldnt help it and i did
then she wiped the tears from my eyes

telling me to stop the cries
but tears still kept falling
Im telling her I love her
as my voice was slowly fading

I think she heard me
I think she feels the same
at first she said she didnt love me
but in a while she called my name

She whispered to my ears
told me she loved me too
"but we still cant be together
even though Im back to loving you"

I know the reason why
I made a mistake to let her go
now she has promised to another guy
It hurts but I still want her to know

I dont know what will happen
I dont care how long it takes
I'll be waiting for you
till my hearts ceases to ache
