Something to Somebody

by clevername   Sep 9, 2007

I was walking in a meadow
Filled with darkened brittled trees
I was walking toward a river
with filthy muck and leaves

My feet got wet and dirty
as i stepped inside the cold
the waves brushed up my shoulders
as i took off my soaking coat

The water ran right through me
It shook me to the core
as i lay drenched and naked
On the river's floor

The sky looked bright and wavey
as the time went by
the clouds they looked like giants
As the wet turned dry

I lay on sandy beaches
Alone inside a meadow
I hear your childish screeches
But i am not,
one of your small leaches

Day's they are acoming
They spin me round and round
i don't asume the world twirls freely
But rather i guide it keenly

Now rush me to the river bed
Drown me
Shake me
Let it end

But without my loyal heart beat?
Without it's thumping special beat?
How will this world keep?
How will this world keep going?

A child walked a long road
And learned the idea of happiness

A grandma baked the child cookies

A mother sent her to school

A brother taught her to be humble

A father taught her humor

And a friend taught her secrets

So in the end
We're something
To somebody

ANd their something to us.

(This was silly. But hey. Maybe it'll mean something to somebody. haha ~peace~)
