Why do i love you?

How come i still love you,
after you said you hate me,
left me so many times,
and continue to betray me,
look at me in my eyes,
and say you wish i was dead,
leaving me alone crying,
alone to sleep in my bed,
purposely saying things to hurt me,
always bringing up the past,
saying all the things you hate,
telling me we wont last,
i tell you how much i love you,
you say that you don't believe,
every time we disagree,
always threaten to leave,
half the things you do,
leave me wondering in shock,
on the couch teary eyed,
alone sitting in the dark,
after you said if i died,
my funeral you would not attend,
why cant i just realize,
all your "i love yous" were pretend?
