If I let you Go

by LoveBird99   Sep 10, 2007

If I let you go now, what would become of me?
For my love for you is as deep as the sea?
She seems so very perfect for you
She seems to adore you, ever so true!
My dream has been long lost, in the foggy mist
My dream was how my heart would melt, every time we kissed
I could express my soul to you, and you would do the same
An everlasting love, a never ending flame
So what if I let you go right now
I may have no choice, but I have no idea how?
May I kiss those beautiful, tender lips, just before I go?
May I tell you how I feel, so at least you will know?
I would do anything, if only to win your love,
You are the one I always dream of
But I must let you go now, and that hurts me deep inside
I must walk away, while my true feeling can still hide
I immensely and passionately want you to know
Alas, it would ruin our friendship, so I feel that I need to go
