Immobile in darkness

by jasmine   Sep 10, 2007

Bound yet unbound i sit
waiting my fate delivered
by poisonous hands
eyes glazed with totured madness
limbs heavy and helpless
a broken heart holding too many
regrets lay crumpled
on the floor
rats all around
reeking of their own fetid waste
slice my immobile fingers
as if never known a decent meal
i lay here no breath to scream
no strength to move
as the blackness of once known love
scream defeat
a gag of stifiling decay
tugs at my body
pulling me deeper as i decend
into the earth
