I have to be strong

by MPHO GODFREY RAMOSHABA   Sep 11, 2007

Life is not a bunch of roses
Life is not a single road to travel,
But distinct road to travel.
It's a long voyage and a infuriate road to travel.
Sometimes incidents free,
Sometimes over traffic.

So I have to be strong when days are dark,
When my days are dark like a mammoth black cloud.
When my life is covered by a dark black cloud.
And when'ver and where'ver I encouter problem,
I have to be strong.

I have to be strong when you swear at me.
I have to be strong when you disrepect me.
Patience is what I believe in,
And hope is what heals me.

I have to forgive you for your wrong deeds,
'cos I believe in prayer.
I believe i my capabilities
And i believe in my skills.

I have to be strong when you hurt me,
I have to be strong when you fool me,
'cos I know you fool yourself too!
East I'll travel, West you'll take.

I have to be strong when my life is under red hot fire,
I have to be strong when immoral and cruel people are behind me.
I have to be strong when I go wrong,
And I have to be strong when you let me down.

Problems are part and parcel of life,
Problems are part and parcel of social relationship,
They're inevitable And I could not run away from them.
They're trends towards humilating one's life,
And causing sadness and destroying joy.
So I have to be strong!

I have to be strong when you make me fool,
I have to be strong when you make me weep,
And I have to be strong when you make me whimper like an infant.
And I have to be strong when you when you treat me like an infant.
