Passion

by Kelia   Sep 11, 2007

Twinlking stars flare up and sparkle out
the sunset paints the sky with every hue
the ocean ripples, as the waves hit the beach with vengence
but as the night comes in, i think only of you

families laugh and smile, living to their own beat
best friends pinky-promise, whispering secrets
lovers lay entertwined, passion etched in every look
but when i look back at the year all i feel are regrets

the days pass, seasons come and seasons go
and the world turns around and around
The grieving scream for you to come back
but the memories flow back and its me they try to drown

Sparklers shoot fire, and light up the night
I was someone who made heads turn, hearts beat and tears fall
I try to remember your laugh and your smile
and sadly, I used to have it all.
