Ugly Duckling

by ashley   Sep 15, 2007

You look at me and see an ugly duckling.
I look at myself and agree.
My looks are shallow and poor.
Soul black with depression.
But my spirit is free.
I may be an ugly duckling.
But you may look beautiful on the outside.
The inside is darker than dark.
I'm one silly girl trying to get threw life.
Bad looks and all.
I've given up on life.
Just an ugly duckling setting in the dark.
My life full of anger and pain.
I really don't understand.
I want to be those charming, pretty girls.
Not an ugly duckling.
Ugly duckling is my life now and after.
Its over.
Slowly my life fades away.
No one cares.
No one dares.
Just an ugly duckling.
