Wow, truly powerful and effective piece. Whole poem is greatly written. I can relate to some parts of it, you expressed emotions very good. The atmosphere of this piece is filled with sadness, greatly created.

In some ways the word choice is cliche and predictable, but from your high standard of writing it feels like you did this on purpose. Perhaps to illustrate this scenario is hopeless and cliche and oh too likely to happen again, also it could add to the desperation of the person in the poem.
