Teardrops on roses
by: Jennifer Wilson
teardrops on roses and bullets in guns
children die in school as their parents weep in their beds.
the heartbreak will never fade nor the image of their children's
lifeless body's lying in a coffin so small.
teardrops on roses and bullets in guns.
bloodstains on the steps of what was once a school
please tell us that this is just a dream that the fear will
disappear if only i could wake from this nightmare.
why wasn't god their was it because they said he wasn't allowed in school?
the only thing that remains is
teardrops on roses and bullets in guns.
