Deceptive Glamour

by CareBear   Sep 17, 2007

Take a deep breath in
Engulf her fatal beauty
Everything you ever wanted
Basking in the shadows

Her venomous glare
Penetrating your terrified face
You never meant to give her
All this power that you gave

You try to speak but no words
Could pierce that silence
She stole more than you were willing to give
And now you lost it all

Her glamour overwhelmed you,
Its witty trickery and malice.
Continue living in this power
Under her undescribable spell

What once was heaven has
Soon become your personal hell
She wasn't who you believed her to be
You found everything you weren't looking for.
