To Remember, Always

by Hear You Me   Sep 17, 2007

It's always so saddening; when somebody dies.
To soar unseen across silky skies,
To float away and join with 'Him'?
To drift away and be with them,
To glide away to peace... and then...

It always burns when someone dies.
Left here, in Hell, alone to cry.
To mourn the loss: so raw and so deep,
A gaping hole we are left to weep,
To pray 'Dear Lord' your soul to keep...

It's always bewildering when someone dies:
To keep on living with innocent eyes...
Our rose tinted glasses now tainted with black,
To push ourselves foward; to never look back,
To remember what we have, and not what we lack...

To remember you're gone. And cannot come back.
To remember you're gone: to bring me to tears,
To know that you're gone, and have been for years.
To know that you're there. And i am still here.
