Why promise something
that you can't keep
isn't a promise
something to cherish

when you break a promise
people get hurt
so tell me does it mean anything
to tell someone you love a promise
and break it

it hurts
to break a promise to a child
to see the tears come form there eye's
i guess you start regretting
what you've done
