Someone loves you

by A Victim of Fate   Sep 19, 2007

You never went near them,
Never watched their lights dim.
They loved the applause,
It gave them a cause,
But something was always missing.

You never saw their talent,
Never saw them be valiant.
They needed you,
It made them blue too,
But you were never there to cheer them up.

You never even knew they hid,
Never saw the things you did.
They would do anything,
It made them run around the ring,
But only you could set them free.

You didn't bother,
Never even sparked the fodder.
They thought you didn't know,
It gave them courage to plant the seed they would sow,
But you were surrounded by friends.

You broke their heart,
Never even bothered to pull it apart.
They put a gun to their head,
It went off and landed on the bed,
But it only freed the soul.

You never knew how much someone loved you,
Never bothered to even care.
They loved you so freaking much,
It hurt even in death and such,
But you only felt guilt. Good.

You loved the girl I used to be,
Never did you tell her to go free.
They are still in that cage for you,
It made me change into what you see true,
But the thing is deep inside...Someone loves you.

You are so pathetic now that you know,
Never will I admit it...to sink that low.
They...I still love the boy on that bed,
It will never leave this mind in this head,
But now that you have died...I love you.
