I See The Light

by Taylor   Sep 21, 2007

I feel this soft touch, filling me inside
I don't want to run, and I don't want to hide
This life means everything to me, until the end
And it's all thanks to you, my dear friend
When I first came here, I couldn't pull through
And I'm just so happy, that I met you
The sun reflects off your eyes, making them shine
Your smile makes me happy, you used to be mine
We have great friends, and we have great memories
When we grow up, we'll tell all these stories
To our children, all the great times
How we used to signal each other, as if we were mimes
Over all the stupid things we used to cry
And how we always acted like we were high
People always asked us, "What are you on?"
Easily remembered like a newborn fawn
Theres Jalissa, Brittany, Matt, and Eddie,
Even Tobin, who told us to keep it steady
When we grow older, hopefully we see each other again
Then we can remember, when we were the greatest friends
We've been through a lot, we were put to the test
But you were always there, you were one of my best
