Can't Let Go..

I opened up my diary lastnight,
Only to read a few pages.
I stopped 'coz I started crying,
The memories of us was hard to embrace.
So I closed it and locked it back up.
Still, my eyes have tears.
Never thought I would come back to my fears.
The fears of me being alone,
Not having you anymore,
This world is so cold.
Putting us behind in the past is not that easy,
It's not your everyday cup of tea
It's really hard for me.
And my heart just can't understand,
That we won't ever be again.
I don't think I tried as hard to hold onto you,
Should've paid more attention,
And kept my eyes all on you.
Now I can't ever say I LOVE YOU!,
Only in my dreams I can.
'Coz only in my dreams we're together again.
I just wish that it was still true.
I can now only imagine,..
What it is still like for you loving me,
And me being with you.
