Love

by MysticBlood   Sep 26, 2007

You said that you'd be there,
When I'm in despair.
You said that you'd be beside me,
When I'm too blind to see.

I thought you said those blissful words to me,
But when I fell on my knee,
You weren't there to catch me falling,
You weren't there waiting.

Was our love not that strong,
For you not to wait long?
Was our love that naive,
That it made both of us believe?

I thought you would hold me tight
And never disappear from my sight,
But now you've opened my eyes and made me see,
How stupid and blind love can be.
