Homie

by Hector Galindo   Sep 27, 2007

To me a homier
Is one of those people
That love to hang
Even though, we get in trouble
I can't seem to remember the last
Time a homie helped
Me in a year and a half.
But yeah I got homies
Even though we've
Gotten in trouble.
Most homies say that they've
Gotten love for each other
To me it's just bull
Shit. Bullshit that not all of us
Can comprehend.
We the homies are together,
We can even create a couple
Of raps for each other.
To me homies are more than friends,
Even though some of them can and probably
Would become some pieces of shit just trying.
Just trying to get hi.
Even though I don't
Think they deserve it.
Even after the way they acted.
To me the term homie means
"A sense of respect."
A sense of respect that some one
Just can't get with open hands.
They have to prove themselves
Through a term called trail and error.
Trail and error is a way because being a homie,
Its not just something youre called
Its a long history
And a way of life.
