Dear mum,

Times have been great,
and times have been tough.
Some how you always managed
and we always had enough.
Each of us with our bad points
and good,
Our different personalities you
not always understood,
but you tried your best
and showed us you cared,
So very special-
the bond we all shared.

Some memories are vivid
and some are so clear,
but all of the memories
I hold in my heart - ever so dear.
Packing a picnic lunch and
sailing off to Horseshoe Bay,
then choc-chip peppermint cones,
before we'd call it a day,
The only importance -
we were all together having fun,
A family of 9 mustn't have
been easy to run.
