Find Your Place

by Jerrine Therese   Sep 29, 2007

A cunning smile you throw at him
perhaps he's your next victim
A toy you manipulate with your hands
a game where the broken-hearted ends

Every guy you meet is deceived
with the lies you carefully weaved
the trap you planned is unseen
or as so you think it is

You've played too many times
You've said so many lies
Now all the trust is gone
To whom will you now run?

The guys you played with before
won't want you anymore
the friends you've once hurt
now see you lower than dirt

What have you done with your life?
You think it's all about guys?
So what if you're pretty, you're not nice
seems sweet but your heart is as cold as ice

What emotions are you talking about?
The things you feel when he's starting to doubt?
Or you're hurt when he starts to look at someone else
someone better, someone who cares

Get a grip, look at what you're doing
Don't you know how many hearts you're breaking?
I hope the day comes when you finally realize
that you're life is stupid, with or without guys.

You should know who you're messing with sometimes. Life isn't all that sweet. You said it before. Now, do you know who your friends really are? Better think twice, the people who hate you can even outnumber the pairs of shoes that I have.
