Autumn Poem

Brisk autumn breeze
Azure sky so clear
As I sat in the grass
Yellow Jacket strayed near

I did not flinch
Nor did I flee
But let calmness within
Envelope me

Away it flew
Yes, off it went
Harming me
Was not its intent

If only I could
Remain in repose
As the rest of my life
Comes and goes
