I Remember Those Days

I wish so badly
That we could just go back
I miss everything we did
And everything we had.

Remember those summer nights
When we would hold each other and kiss
When you'd tell me you loved me
Those are all the times I miss.

I Want to be yours once more
Call you mine again
But you're so far away
Laughing it up with your new girlfriend.

I wish I could let you go
Because now it's really over
But it's so hard to do
When you never really had closure.

I take out this box
And look through all of our letter
They had passion, love, and hope
Gave me a sense we'd last forever.

But once again I was fooled,
I was so wrong
To think you really could to this
To think we'd last that long.

It was a beautiful concept
And I miss your love
I want to feel you once more
You knew you were the only one.

There are so many memories
And so many amazing times
All the late night phone calls
All those days you were mine.
