A loser like me

I can explain and it was so easy to see,
You could never be happy with a loser like me.
The only thing I can do is to love you like no other,
For the rest I have nothing more to offer.
In times like these, love is so easily taken for granted,
And I just can't understand it.

Love is a precious gift that should be cherished,
And one only misses it when it has vanished.
But a loser like me doesn't know a thing about romance,
But you never gave me an honest chance.
Because then I could let you see,
How beautiful love can be.

So let me be the loser that I am,
For I only want to love you as much as I can.
Lovers nowadays skip from one love to another,
About feelings they don't seem to bother.
It is so sad that the smile which i see,
will never be given to me.

You can be so reticent and cool,
Off course I am no match for you, I am a love-fool.

It seems like I am doomed to stray this life alone,
Like a vagabond with no home.
If only you would give me a moment of your time,
Iâ??d show you that love can make you shine.
But I guess I won't be able to ever let you see,
Because you don't care about losers like me.
