He saw her in her casket
Tears coming down his cheeks
"If only I had been here earlier.
If only by a couple of weeks"

You shall be my wife

He placed the ring on her finger
Gazing into her closed eyelids
He tried to remember her blue eyes
While the people around him were amid

They cried along with him
Gave him a hug
Said they will miss her too
Then walked away tripping on the rug

Before he left
He swooped down to kiss her on the cheek
Whispering in her ear
"See you in a week"
