Forever more

I dreamed I was dreaming while dreaming i fell through the roof of a duplex my apartment in hell so near to death he came to me and rang on the door of mahogany but i wouldn't be fooled by his clever disguise for through the peeping glass before my eyes stood an old man with a cane by his side come let me in I'll do you no harm for i am the master of but a body farm but i wasn't crazy my sanity was kept my body was hazy and looking at him i wept damn what a fool (he'll never take me alive) do you think me an idiot be gone with your life the man showed his teeth through a crooked grin slid a card under the door and put up his chin he turned from the entrance then he left on his heel and walked away his anger i could feel i stooped to pick up the card on the floor where it lay it was very simple in bloody letters it read you've passed the first test at this i sprang from my bed it was only a dream though it seemed so real i turned in my pillow and relaxed with a chill i dreamed i was dreaming in my dream i fell through the roof of a duplex from my apartment in hell I'd no sooner than landed when i knock on the door brought me to my senses i prayed god no more i walked to the entrance and peeped through the hole a little girl was standing there but her look was so cold let me in man I'll do you no harm see i sell cookies in the great body farm but i saw through this clever disguise death cannot take me for i am to wise leave my door i commanded I'll not see you today for i shall not die while i have my right brain i be not crazy nor insane am i i need but awaken and clear my eyes at this thought i rolled over in my bed i lay but a knock on the door came to my dismay i sprang from the bed to the window i went i flung back the curtain for my sanity was spent i heard another knock louder this time i stepped on the balcony and from the third story i dived death couldn't take me for i was to smart he was at the door i knew in my heart it took three men to knock down the door when it fell they saw a business card laying on the floor they went to the bed where sheets but no body lay and they picked up a cookie box that could've Been delivered that day oh but where is he his brother cried i knocked on his door but got no reply written in fog on the balcony glass were but a few words but an explanation at last i know you've knocked two times before but you can not take me forever more and forever more you see i will not let death beat me.
