Reinforce those thoughts in your head
That keep pushing him away
Listen to the feeling in your gut
That's telling you this is not right
Retain the warnings pulsing in your ears
Repeat them like a beating drum
Hold on to the walls you put up
That won't allow this to touch

Stop before you fall in again
Turn around, and walk away
Neglect his offering of an apology
