If Tears Were Blood

by InuHalfDemon   Oct 4, 2007

Streams of blood run down my face
Soaking my shirt, my mouth tinged with the taste.
It's flowing down my neck, staining my hair.
It drips from me, staining the earth.
The bleeding never stops.

If tears were blood,
I'd be bleeding.
If tears were blood,
If tears were blood...

Screams are tearing, ripping from throat.
Sobs are racking, choking in my chest.
These wails and shrieks, only for me to hear.
You would never understand, for no one could.
The screaming never ceases.

If tears were blood,
I'd be bleeding.
If griefs were heard,
I'd be screaming.
Forever bleeding.
Forever screaming.

I am dying and, yet, will not see death.
I am screaming but still have breath.
My soul is fading, rather than my life.
I am still dying, though I'll still be here.
For, my suffering will never die.

If tears were blood,
I'd be bleeding.
If griefs were heard,
I'd be screaming.
Forever bleeding.
Forever screaming.
Forever dying.

If tears were blood...
