Soul In Me

by Isabella   Oct 4, 2007

In the red light of night,
I feel at ease.
Under the stars so bright,
I am at piece.

I hear whispers all around,
Blowing through my hair.
To that life I am bound,
The only thing that seems fair.

In the dark my life takes flight,
I am alone.
Stepping away from peoples sight,
Burning through my bones.

To the darkness within,
I say a prayer.
While begging it to begin,
The killing and slaying.

Very humanly like grief. Evil can be so compelling. Our soul is bait that constantly tempts it. And it is so hungry.
