Hopeless

When will I ever be happy again
The light of my heart is still so dim
He was so cold and vain
leaving me in enough pain
My sorrow overcomes the joy
the heartache i tried to avoid
I must let it all go
but my heart still says no
so dumb for making myself believe
that he would have changed just for me
So my life is filled with most-utter misery
As i wait for the one to lift this curse from me
