Two For Tragedy

by Beautiful Chaos   Oct 5, 2007

I never thought I'd find the one,
This world holds much confusion,
Even when you said those words,
It felt like a delusion.

All the love I'd ever known,
Consisted of sweet pain,
Empty words and hurtful actions,
Tears that fell like rain.

I'd never known an honest love,
All I knew was fear,
I did the best that I knew how,
And now the end is here.

Your beating heart a broken stone,
Lost to all we've done,
Everything that we had ended,
Before it had begun.

My Romeo, your Juliet,
A destiny to die,
Dance among the shining stars,
Love a distant cry.

You and I, a tragedy,
I never will forget,
Pain and all, I love you,
I ponder no regret.
