The Taboo Feeling

by Janette Bradley   Oct 5, 2007

Crash! Boom! Bang!
Thats the way I feel
Today.
Pots, pans and pillows,
Whatever comes to hand,
I would cheerfully
Throw out the
Nearest door, window,
Or other such opening.

Despair!
That describes
Who I am today!
At my wits end!
I am!
What should I do?
Laugh or cry?
Live or die?
Know this, not I!

What do I do?
How do I cope?
Is there a hope?
Could I find another way?
A serial grater, I am!
A different kind of pain
To feel I long.
One that I can control
From beginning
To end.

Taboo
Is this subject.
But why?
Have you not fancied
A slice of arm or leg?
Have you never
Felt the pressure build up?
Till you were ready to explode?
So just a little cut
To release the pressure.
That is all I ask.
Please.
