As I watch the room spin,
I fall to my knees,
I close my eyes,
and I beg God please..
Take my tears away,
at least just for today,
and give me a smile,
that I can keep for a while.
Give me the strength to fight off my tears,
and give me the hope to forget all my fears.
Let me see myself as I'm told that I am,
and not as a little girl who needs to hold someone's hand.
Help me be the best that I can be,
and show me what I need to make me see.
