Rekindled Love

by BeautifulGirl   Oct 7, 2007

Get away for a while.
Here I am, on the beach out a mile.
Standing on the shore, calling out your name.
I've been here before. I can see no shame.
Only clouds could see tears are in my eyes,
Empty like my heart. We had to say goodbyes.
My mind is out on the sea again.
I won't try to hid all of my pain.
I wish I could see your face.
Or be in the same place.
I wish it could have been another way.
But I will see you again some other day.
Its not fair why it happened
Our hopes and dreams have been flattened.
But we will rekindle our love sometime.
I will know when its time when the church bells chime.
We'll be side-by-side, together we'll stand.
You'll know I won't give in, we'll be hand-in-hand.
You should know I'll always love you,
No matter how far apart we grew.
We belong together
Our rekindled love will last forever.
