I'll Be There In Time

by Lauren   Oct 7, 2007

Is there a way for me to explain
How I feel inside?
Can I be free and stop hiding in me
Who I really am?

I've left the place I feared
And I'm coming home where I belong...

'Cause right here
This house is not a home
It's a place that I stay, in hope that someday
I'll come running back to you
This house is not a home
And if I should fly
I'll be there in time

Why can't you see this is the real me
Who I want to be?
They held me down
I felt like a circus clown
But now I say 'no more'

I've left the place I feared
And I'm coming home where I belong...

'Cause right here
This house is not a home
I live through each day, I hope and I pray
That I'll come running back to you
This house is not a home
And if I should fly
I'll be there in time

I'm fed up of living my the rule book
My life is not a game
So right here right now
My outlooks gonna change

I've left the place I feared
And I'm coming home where I belong

'Cause right here
This house is not a home
It's a place that I've stayed but somehow today
I'll be running back to you
This house was never home
And now I can fly
I'll be home in time
