She's Dead

by Johnnys Medicine   Oct 7, 2007

Her eyes were hollow-
Pale her once beautiful face was-
She hadn't a life to borrow-
For she is dead.

I loved her much-
But help her I couldn't-
I kissed her for the last time with just a touch-
I whisper words of love in her ears.

I wish not to say goodbye-
Why god doth she die-
Is my love that she died of-
Or is it a disease.

I shall miss her, I know-
How will e'er love again-
She was the one, my gentle sweet-
I hate death as I hate a foe.

I take my own life-
So I may see her-
I can't live without her-
So goodbye world, so strife.
