A day in the life of nothing

by tad   Oct 8, 2007

Swirling colors swim into view

A black rose to my pride

Blood drips slower than water

Oh how i love the black sky of night

Tears never dry fast enough

Pain grips you tight like a mothers love

Needlelike points on the skin

The brightest color in my life is crimson

Sunrise breeds despair

Another day in the life of nothing

What is that red stain doing there

Words never spoken mean everything

Life is thy own prison

Keeping me inside myself

No tolerance for self expression

I smile at the scars ive been dealt
