October 26th

by Johnnys Medicine   Oct 8, 2007

The darkness of the room fills his eyes
As he sits on his bed
He peers into the darkness wide eyed
As the black room turns into a memory.

He's back on that black day he wished to escape
First the sounds come back slowly at first
But more gradually as time goes by
As this happens he sees what had happened
He is now reliving the worst day of his life.

The smell and taste of tears
The sound of rustling leaves
And the feeling
Of waking down a path towards a destiny
That he doesn't know of
That he has no control of
He will never know when the end will come.
