The Lady or the Tiger?

My ending to the story goes like this. The man walks up to the two doors standing there with a tiger behind the left door very hungry and fierce. The lady behind the right. He glances back at her as everyone forces on him he saw the signal the princess sent and he opened the right door. This led him to the lady. As he stood there with confusion on why the princess choose the lady he didnt know. The princess was heartbroken but would rather see him married to another woman then to not see him at all. So the young man married the lady although the princess still had his heart. As the princess and the mans eyes met once more the princess had a heart broken but relieved look on her face. She admitted she would be jealous that he was married to someone she disliked very much but as long as he was alive and she could see him. As in his mind he would have rather got eaten then to be with another woman. So they got married in the arena but as the princess sat there watching the king looked over at her with a disappointing look on his face. She got up leaving as she couldnt take this anymore.
A few weeks after that happen the princess was still a little sad. The man felt ashamed that he had married the lady but there was nothing he could do about it. The princess couldnt take it anymore so she went out looking for someone but deep down in side she knew that the man would always have her heart.
