My Turn

Counting seconds in the darkness.
Waiting for death to swallow me whole.
Each beat of my heart passes the time
Until I am gone, body, mind and soul.
Each minute awake draws pained pictures.
Wanting to destroy and burn
All those who've done this to me.
I can't wait for my turn.
My turn to go and leave this place.
Forever sleeping without pain and sorrow.
Forever lost in space and time.
Never to wake in the morrow.
