Asphyxiation

by Atticus Finch   Oct 11, 2007

I cannot breath
Pulse rampages through jaded veins,
Hands tremble from the stress,
Mind is focused on her.

She could have saved me...

Gasping for air with no relief,
Scared of what comes next.

I want to be with her one last time.
Hold her...
Kiss her...

Vision blackens and consciousness fades,
Tears roll out of dry eyes,
Pain exceeds comprehension.
I try to scream but to no avail...
This intensity makes me feel I will burst...

But I never will...
