When someone says there looking for the perfect guy you know that such a thing is a lie.
Perfection is not here, happiness is not near.
I just wanted you to be happy, I thought you might want the same for me.
But thats not what it would seem, perfection is such a sweet dream.
Now that its all said, I can sleep in my bed.
Admitting that what I see is true, for a while now I've been over you.
I never thought the tears would stop, never thought my heart would drop.
So we didn't last forever, I got to pull it together.
Move on get past something thats been long gone.
I loved you so much it made me cry, I was willing to give anything a try.
But when I look into your eyes, I believe your lies.

You made me happy for a while, but I don't feel that smile.
Stop denying what you feel, admit to yourself it's real.
