Big Wheels

by Medusa   Oct 14, 2007

Big wheels keep on whirling, swiftly down the highway.
The Lambent flames across the sky closes another day.
The smoldering pavement cools with the night.
The big rig keeps on tearing like an animal out of sight.
He's a hardworking man with a heavy lead on his mind.
Thinking of his loved ones, whom he had to leave behind.
From one place to another, strangers all around.
Slowly heading back toward his home town.
Yet big wheels keep on whirling, swiftly down the highway.
The lambent flames across the sky closes another day
