Precious moments

by silhouette fairy   Oct 16, 2007

She lifts her eyes
just in time to see his cry
she smiles and shakes her head
soon he will need a new bed
he is out growing his crib
then he will be at her side
seconds after being left
he does that any way
such an escape artist
his forest green eyes look at her
reaching for her he smiles
she gives in picking him up
holding him close
the one thing she hopes to never lose
he giggles as she kisses his head
she places him on the floor
now playing with his blocks
she takes in everything
his midnight black hair
every curly in place
his forest green eyes
full of curiosity
the rosy cheeks
of a perfect complexion
the chubby legs
that every little child has
even the little toes
that curl and flex with each stretch
then his tiny little hands
that hold her life together
she sits in admiration
knowing there is no wrong in his world
he completes her
he holds her heart
she just wants to remember this moment forever
these precious moments
she will never forget
