Nothingness

by KrypticKristen   Oct 17, 2007

She`s lost and confused
All of the places from her past
She had been abused
Where does she go from here?

She`s all alone, and afraid
In perfect union
They tell her she should have stayed
Clearly they had no idea

No idea what he had done
No idea what it was like
If she had stayed he would have won
And cluttered on the floor she`d be a mess

Counting back the days, memories of her past
And now she realizes that she is at a loss
No matter how hard she try`s nothing will last
The nothingness consumes her

Curled in the corner, eyes mirroring the darkened sky
Struggling to hold back the tears
That she vowed to never cry
She becomes what she has always had, absolutely nothing
